3D Modeling
Models and sculpts created in Maya, Blender, ZBrush, and Nomad, designed by me unless stated otherwise.
Form Forge
These models were completed for a club at ECU called Form Forge, which was meant to emulate the production pipeline for students interested in the video game and animation industry. The designs were created by other students (names in the bottom right corner), while the models were made by me.
Paul is the main character from my micro-movie Set in Stone, and The Sculptor is the antagonist. These characters were modeled in Nomad and Maya and rigged in Maya. See pre-production for some of the research I conducted when developing Paul’s appearance.
Paul and the Sculptor
Paul
Sculptor
The sculptor is an artist from the late 1700s to early 1800s, carving what he intends to be a warrior that would inspire young men to fight- this is why Paul resembles the sculptures of the Renaissance and antiquity.
Bisoncycle
For this assignment, I had to come up with five combinations of animal and machine, and for each idea, five variations. I selected my favorite and modelled it in ZBrush.
Row 1: sea lion and ferry
Row 2: beaver and shredder
Row 3: tortoise and drill
Row 4: bison and motorcycle
Row 5: squirrel and gramophone
Row 6: heron and forklift
