Stop Motion

This piece was created for my Narrative Through Kinetic Imaging class. The assignment was to create a stop motion sequence, at least 30 seconds long, with sound effects.

I chose to tell a lighthearted story about an Egyptian mummy’s morning (“Mourning”) routine, which involved make up, perfume, and feeding her cat.

I started figure skating when I was 16, and discovered that I loved making costumes almost as much as the sport itself. All of the costumes pictured here were made from second-hand leotards that I sewed skirts and sleeves onto and glued rhinestones on.
